Starting Off
We all have to begin somewhere, right? I've been collecting out of print Warhammer models for a long time now. The interest for me started in high school, which is 10 years ago at this point. What kicked this whole thing off in the first place? I started playing Warhammer 40k in 4th edition, which seems like a lifetime ago. I began with the plastic Cadians, since the Imperial Guard interested me a lot, and everyone else seemed to be playing Space Marines. In some thread on Warseer, (also a distant memory at this point) someone posted about the older metal Cadians from 2nd edition, and how they looked better than the current plastic Cadians. He was right, the plastic ones looked like football players more than soldiers. Anyway, it kicked off the rabbit hole of me learning about previous editions of Warhammer (and grognards always love to talk about older editions being better).
